I was attracted to programming as a creative outlet at a young age and have been interested in it ever since. Over the past 15 years or so, I have been designing and developing sofware in a variety of settings in the industry, in finance and in academia. I particularly enjoy working on imaging applications, developing games and solving algorithmically challenging problems. A rewarding example of the latter that came when I was working for the nuclear safety industry was converting a classical representation of 3D objects (position and dimensions) into sets of spaces defined by implicit functions.

In the past few years, I have been focusing on web and mobile technologies with projects ranging from taxi ordering to image manipulation. My photo editing apps for Android phones, and , have been installed over a million times and can be found on the Google Play Store.

  • In the framework of my PhD thesis I had to design an online platform leveraging a game theoretic scenario. Ilixa proved invaluable in achieving this goal as the consultants quickly grasped the complexity of the concepts and the challenges involved in the project. Not only were they professional and focused, they also were creative and able to think "out of the box" to help me come up with a great platform to gather empirical results.
